BECAUSE WITH NOUNS / PRONOUNS
You add NOUN behind “vì” / “do”/ “bởi vì” to indicate a cause or a reason.

Vì / Do/ Bởi vì + Noun / Personal pronouns
For example:
Vì anh! | Because of you! |
Do em! | Because of you! |
Bởi vì chị! | Because of you! |
BECAUSE WITH ADJECTIVES
You add ADJECTIVE behind “vì” / “do”/ “bởi vì” to indicate a cause or a reason.
PATTERN
Vì / Do / Bởi vì + Adjective
For example:
Tôi ăn vì đói | I eat because I am hungry |
Tôi uống vì khát | I drink because I am thirsty |
Anh ấy đang run run do lạnh | He is shivering because it’s cold |
BECAUSE WITH NÊN
In order to express “because…so…” (or so-called as cause-result relationship), you can use this sentence structure:

Vì / Do / Bởi vì + (cause) + nên (result)
For example:
Vì tôi xinh đẹp nên anh ấy yêu tôi | Because I am pretty, he loves me |
Vì trời nóng nên tôi đổ mồ hôi | Because the weather is hot, I sweat a lot |
Do tôi dậy trễ nên tôi trễ chuyến bay | Because I woke up late, I missed the flight |
