Rai is financed mainly through the canone Rai, which is a tax paid by users who own a television set.

Another popular program is the satirical/stand-up comedy show Fratelli di Crozza.

Another original program is Alta infedeltà: in each episode, some actors reconstruct several love stories that resulted in infidelity.
