HOW TO SAY AND IN VIETNAMESE
And in Vietnamese can be expressed using one simple word: và.

VÀ + NOUNS
Let’s first have a look at how to use và with nouns.
PATTERN
Noun 1 + và + Noun 2
| Tôi thích con mèo và con chó | I love cat and dog |
| Cô ấy ăn bánh mì và pizza | She eats bread and pizza |
| Anh ấy không thích màu hồng và màu xanh | He doesn’t like pink and blue |

VÀ + VERBS
Và used with verbs has a similar sentence structure as with nouns:

Verb 1 + và + Verb 2
| Tôi đi học và đi shopping | I go to school and go shopping |
| Mẹ tôi nấu ăn và rửa chén | My mom cooks and washes dishes |
| Anh ấy có thể bơi và chạy bộ | He can swim and run |

| Trời lạnh và ẩm | It’s cold and humid |
| Phở nóng và ngon | Pho is hot and delicious |
| Cô ấy cao và xinh đẹp | She is tall and pretty |
